The England left back looks set to be punished severely after reports in the press that he deliberately misled senior Chelsea officials into covering-up one of his sexual liaisons whilst on last summer’s pre-season tour to the US.

His wife, Cheryl Cole is currently working in America and has reportedly been considering the implications of Ashley’s actions, and a possible divorce suit.

According to a report in an American news magazine, Tiger has been on the centre’s $60,000 (£37,000) six-week Gentle Path programme since the end of last year.

It is claimed that Elin made Tiger agree to stop cheating and enter sexual rehab, threatening the golfer that she would take the couple’s children – Sam Alexis, 2, and 6-month-old son Charlie Axel – back to Sweden. He accepted in exchange for Elin not seeking immediate divorce proceedings.

The couple’s troubles became public following a blazing Thanksgiving night row, which culminated in Tiger evading their Orlando mansion bare-footed, before crashing his car into a tree at the bottom of their drive and being taken to hospital.

It is also rumoured that the disgraced golfer may have moved in with the New York club promoter Miss Uchitel.

The latest claim by respected American TV show “Entertainment Tonight”, indicates that Woods may still be seeing the first mistress to be named in the cheating scandal – Miss Uchitel.

Sources told the hit Amwerican show that Tiger Woods and Miss Uchitel were mingling with about 300 revellers during a private party at a mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, on Saturday night. It is also alleged that the pair were seen holding hands.

The world’s most well known golfer, Tiger Woods, owns a yacht called Privacy, which is docked in Palm Beach. Coincidentally, during the past week, Miss Uchitel has been photographed several times at the upscale resort town.

Claims made on the Entertainment Tonight programme were that the couple are living together at a secret location.

The show’s website is also claiming that the couple were spotted together at the trendy Everglades Club in Palm Beach on Saturday.

When asked whether she was with Woods over the weekend, Miss Uchitel responded: “No comment.”

Tiger’s wife Elin Nordegren, is said to be pursuing her plans for a swift divorce, following a series of revelations that her husband had affairs with up to 11 women.

Ex-model Elin Nordegren has vowed to bring up the couple’s two young children alone and is preparing for a bitter custody battle with her cheating husband Tiger Woods over them following his refusal to see sex addiction doctors.

She is also planning to limit the golf star to occasional visits to see his children Sam, aged two, and Charlie, 10-months and is also preparing to fight for half his reported £340m fortune.

Elin had originally been prepared to agree joint custody arrangements with Woods but she feels she has been forced into a change of heart by his total refusal to seek any professional help from doctors and therapists about his addiction to illicit romps.

Everyone wants Tiger to get treatment and going down that road was his only real chance of delaying the divorce, but he wouldn’t even sit through therapy”.

It has emerged that when the world’s greatest golfer missed the cut at The Open in July the whisper doing the rounds among his fellow professionals was that he had found it difficult to concentrate because his wife had learned he was cheating on her.

Suggestions that Elin had confronted him before he flew to Scotland were taken with a pinch of salt at the time. Squeaky clean Tiger Woods, a love-rat? Get real. It all makes more sense now though, with Woods owning up to his many ‘transgressions’, and a growing list of women coming clean to affairs with the golfer.

One player, who did not want to be named, said the rumour that Tiger’s private life was close to blowing up in his face was rife at Turnberry. He said: “The word was Tiger had been caught out and that Elin was threatening to leave him even then. It was bad enough when it was just conjecture and not out in the public domain. Now it’s on the front pages of every newspaper and magazine and being broadcast on every TV station in the world, it is a million times worse. Even if Tiger’s marriage survives this, you wonder if he’ll ever again be able to adopt the same single-minded approach that made him the greatest competitor the sport has known. Maybe what happened to him at Turnberry could be a taste of things to come.”

According to the head of Yahoo, the sex scandal currently surrounding Tiger Woods has driven more traffic to websites than the King of Pop’s tragic death earlier this year.

Yahoo said that it had seen a huge surge in traffic to their website as the Tiger Woods saga continues to fascinate the world.

In a statement that will horrify Michael Jackson’s family, friends and fans, Carol Bartz (Yahoo chief executive) said the Tiger sex scandal had been better for business than Jackson’s death in the summer.

Authorities are still continuing their homicide investigation surrounding Michael Jackson’s death, and are now focusing on his personal doctor Conrad Murray, however no formal charges have been filed.

Dr Murray maintains that he did not prescribe or administer anything to Mr Jackson that should have killed him.
