Ex-model Elin Nordegren has vowed to bring up the couple’s two young children alone and is preparing for a bitter custody battle with her cheating husband Tiger Woods over them following his refusal to see sex addiction doctors.

She is also planning to limit the golf star to occasional visits to see his children Sam, aged two, and Charlie, 10-months and is also preparing to fight for half his reported £340m fortune.

Elin had originally been prepared to agree joint custody arrangements with Woods but she feels she has been forced into a change of heart by his total refusal to seek any professional help from doctors and therapists about his addiction to illicit romps.

Woods total denial of his sex addiction problem has frustrated Elin, and has prompted her decision to try to limit his involvement in the children’s lives. One of Elin’s friends said: “She can’t believe Tiger’s behaviour. He says he wants to save the marriage but he’s not doing anything about it”. She went on to add “He’s hiding out like a child and refusing to go to rehab to get the treatment he needs. She’s so mad at him, she’s flipping out. Everyone wants Tiger to get treatment and going down that road was his only real chance of delaying the divorce, but he wouldn’t even sit through therapy”.
