Following long and often turbulent relationships with Johnny Depp and Pete Doherty, The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince has proposed marriage to supermodel Kate Moss on her 36th birthday.

Hince, 40, flew out to Mustique last week to where the model was working.
Despite an often turbulent relationship, Kate Moss was desperate to finally settle down and it seems guitarist Hince is the lucky man.
He told Moss not to come home and carefully picked the ring before flying out to see her, a friend revealed.
Kate and Jamie already live together in a leafy part of North London, near to other celeb night-owls Sadie Frost and Davinia Taylor.
The couple met just three months after Moss’s colourful relationship with singer Pete Doherty, after they were introduced by mutual friend Sadie Frost.
Until now, it was still said that Johnny Depp was the big love of the model’s life – as they enjoyed a four-year relationship together.
Following the separation, Depp, who has two children with singer Vanessa Paradis, is alleged to have said: “I don’t think I was very good for her. So what we did was right – we walked away from each other.”
The couple haven’t announced a date yet.
