Vinnie Jones
It has been reported that Vinnie has considered leaving only 48hours into his Big Brother stay. I certainly hope not as when I talked the lineup through in the office, his was the only name that drew in the respect it deserves.
Vinnie made his name as the ‘hardman’ of football, however, 50 Hollywood films later, he has found himself as the highest paid celeb on the show earning a reported £350,000 for the three week stint. I have to admit that watching a man of his reputation washing up has changed my opinion somewhat, but I would like to see more.
The speculation has come after comments Vinnie made both in the Diary Room and in conversation with other housemates. When asked what present he would like for his 45th birthday, which he celebrated yesterday, he replied:
“A red card straight from here would do me,”
In the Diary Room he said:
“I don’t fancy doing three weeks. I keep eyeing up those walls to see how high they are.”
He also criticised his housemates, saying:
“I don’t really know any of them … and some are trying a bit hard in here.”
Radio 1 DJ Tim Westwood set to replace Vinnie?
Producers have recentley denied that glamour model Vikki Thomas was asked about joining the show, however, no comment has been made regarding a Twitter post by Tim Westwood claiming he was just asked to join. He then asked his fans if he should take time off the radio to do the show.
