The latest rumour in Hollywood is that former Friends star Jennifer Aniston has reunited with her ex, singer John Mayer, in a series of secret dates.
The love lives of celebrities and film stars are always in the media spotlight, but none more so than that of Along Came Polly actress Jennifer Aniston. Ever since the 41-year-old split from husband Brad Pitt in 2005, the tabloids have had a field day discussing her relationships and potential love interests. She has been linked with funnyman Vince Vaughn, British model Paul Sculfor and most recently, singer John Mayer.
After numerous break-ups and reconciliations, Aniston and Mayer –who has a reputation for being somewhat of a womaniser after relationships with many celebrity women such as Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jessica Simpson - split up for good in March 2009. Or so we thought.
Rumours have now started flying that Aniston and Mayer, 32, have reconciled and have been meeting in secret for the last few weeks. Last week, sources told E! Online that Aniston was in the wings watching Mayer’s performance at the Hollywood Bowl.
Just a few days later, however, Mayer reportedly shouted “I’m completely single!” to the crowd at his concert in Irvine, California. Just to add to confusion, insider sources for both camps have also denied the rumours that the couple are back together. A source speaking to UsMagazine.com said:
“John is still friends with Jen, but they are not dating again. She was not at the Hollywood Bowl show he played, but it would not mean anything if she were. They remain friends but are definitely not back together.”
