Last night (9th June) saw long-standing host Davina McCall launch the last ever series of Big Brother on Channel 4, welcoming the final 14 weird and wonderful contestants in through those famous doors.
Big Brother 11 producers have gone all-out to make this final series as explosive as possible, choosing the 14 craziest characters from more than 81 hopefuls.
So who’s in?
Amongst others, this year’s Big Brother role call includes:
- Professional Beyonce lookalike Rachel from Reading, a stunning 23-year-old who has made a career out of looking spookily like the booty-shaking megastar. Admitting she checks herself in the mirror every day to “check I’m still hot”; Rachel shimmied up to the famous BB house looking as uber-glamorous as the lady herself.
- Squatter Shabby (real name Keeley Jade Flanders), 24, a former child actress who starred in Black Beauty but now lives in a squat.
- Steve Gill, a 40-year-old former serviceman who lost both his legs and one eye following a bomb explosion in Belfast.
- Christian Minister David, 38, organiser of religious festival Sloshfest and firm believer in UFOs
- Ife, one of Cheryl Cole’s backing dancers and a backing singer on the X-Factor
- Jordan lookalike Corin, 29, from Stockport
The final (surprise) contestant to enter the house was lucky Big Brother superfan Mario, who was plucked from obscurity at the last minute in a tombola draw. Unemployed fashion designer Mario is also part of the first BB 11 task – entering the house as a mole, trying to avoid detection by the other housemates while actually wearing a mole suit.
Will Britains Got Talent’s Piers Morgan replace Larry King? CNN says no

I think Corin looks more like
Lorriane Chase (Luton Airport)
than Jordan.
